The Conti-TDS is the most effective and elegant system for the Induction, Wetting and Dispersing of powders into a base liquid.
Many products, from low viscosity liquids to high viscous pastes and gels involve the addition of dry, powder materials of many varying types:
- Dusty, low density powders e.g. Fumed silicas; Titanium Dioxide etc...
- Sticky, swelling powders e.g. Carbomers; Alginates; CMC; Xanthan and Guar gums
- Active ingredients
There are a number of problems typically associated with the addition and wetting of powders:
- Dust control
- Health and safety
- Poor dispersion and agglomerates
- Product wastages
- Time consuming processes
- Inconsistency of final product
The Conti-TDS can overcome any and all of these problems.
Powders can be inducted from:
- Hoppers
- Silos
- BigBags
- Sacks
- Drums
Fully integrated systems can be supplied with Controls etc. Conti-TDS can easily be installed to work with existing batch tanks and vessels, or we can offer all new vessels and piping.
